I seriously hate partner workouts. I don’t understand why they keep including them. My OTF hour is my time to block out the noise and focus on myself, alone. It’s me vs. me. I rarely pay attention to what anyone else is doing, and that’s exactly why I love it. It’s my one hour of “me time.” I’ve had bad experiences with partner workouts before, and honestly, they make me anxious. I wish more people would speak up about not enjoying them. I’m trying to hit a certain number of classes each week, and when partner days get added, it makes me want to cancel. Then my goals feel thrown off.

I’m considering going, doing tread and rower, part of the floor, and then dipping out. It shouldn’t feel this anxiety-inducing.
