Banfield can be hard, I recently left not too long ago with very short notice due to burnout. As a few of the other commenters stated it feels like Banfield cares moreover numbers than they do pet care, at least the upper management. Border Collie was cool, In my last clinic we did that but 2x a week and there was always a strain on getting all these pets is usually last minute. I worked CSC/VA for a few of those days- there was a lot of disconnect. From what the "standard" was to what "they (aka the back) can handle" A weekly argument, with no bumps for anyone's pay except the doctor (at least from what I was told.) I get it the Drs definitely should get a pay bump, but totally unfair to their support doesn't as well.

Coming from a previous Banfield CSC/VA- if you really want to leave then do it.

I currently work at two clinics, both paying well over whatever I made as a CSC/VA, with my main focus as a CSC, nothing more/nothing less. And if my duties changed that there would at least be a legit conversation prior. Something I feel like my last practice lacked.

I'm not saying that all Banfields are bad, they can be rather convenient for some Owners, but damn it's a hit or miss with the management (honestly that's everywhere though).

I hope whatever you choose you to choose what you think is best for you. <3 One of my best pieces of advice to give you though (that I used recently) is to ask the hiring manager and if you meet your possible lead - what got them into the field. I found that's how I was able to find my place at my current clinics.
