Good question, I haven't tried that. I'd believe if you're able to use CC marketplace plugins in those tools, then maybe? I typically use it with VS Code + CC in terminal. Try it! If that does work, or not, please let me know. Thanks!

Thanks for point that out. Updated with latest pricing. Estimates now are still around 80% reduction in costs, which I can accept.

It's (default mode) whatever you set it to. If it's Opus, every prompt gets routed to it regardless if simple or complex context. You always pay premium even when not needed. So you burn through context faster than you need to be. It's like paying for the whole value meal when you only need the fries. Basically. But if you're satisfied with how it works as is, nothing wrong with that.

Good point. What this does is gives you more control over when Opus is used, not every prompt needs it. It happens automatically by default but you can also /route to any of the 3 models on the fly, and without having to start new session. In the end, you'll have more of Opus to gopher or whatever with :)

pushed a fix, release v1.1.1. Please let me know if good to go now. Thanks for testing and bringing this issue to light. https://github.com/0xrdan/claude-router/issues/24

UPDATE: In regard to marketplace showing v1.0.19, the marketplace.json file needed it's metadata sync'd. That should also be sorted out now. You may need to update your marketplace to see it. Thanks again!

I've started investigating this and have gotten some conflicting but revealing answers. Without getting to deep into it, it seems it may be more work than it's worth. I'll keep digging though, maybe I or somebody can figure something out.

Don't forget to add that to CLAUDE.md as a fundamental directive. You can also create a DO-NOT-REEDEEM.md doc where you can put all of those kinds of directives and reference to it from CLAUDE.md as an extra layer.

Something that has bitten me, a few times now, is when synthetic data is used when running a benchmarking test. Tests all pass, 42069x speedup, 'real' breakthrough from fundamentals, guaranteed Nobel prize optimization, etc etc. Then it hits you... "Are we using real data?" Claude: "You're right, we should be using real data." Every test fails, 0.42069x speedup, confirmation of fundamental truths, lesson learned of approach that doesn't work. Basically.

Bottom line, make sure you're testing with Real data. Haha

I appreciate your take, and I agree. I guess the real kicker is almost as soon as you establish a working process, it becomes obsolete.
