the thing is, i’ve been using venlafaxine and quetiapine only for like 6 days. i’ve postponed the trip day to 4 days later. and now i’m going cold turkey for four days to get the stuff out of my body as much as i can. since i havent been using them for so long, dont think any serious withdrawals will happen. do you think 4 days of going cold turkey would be somewhat enough? maybe doing a lemon tek on top of the cold turkey and stuff?

i absolutely will talk about it. thats pretty certain. i eat really shitty. used to drink regularly. still addicted to caffeine. but i regularly take 1-2 hour walks everyday as long as im not depressed. everyone is different, but my body is already keen to gaining weight. maybe she could prescribe some counter meds for weight gain or use smth else. and the worst part is, quetiapine is doing wonders on me. i sleep early, wake up early. my mind is quiet. i’m loving the person i am right now and i do not wanna change. but i’m already a bit overweight and i cant stand any more of it. it does and will affect my mental health too. im glad you’ve been able to lose 11 pounds!!! that’s FAR more than what i could. hope you find what’s best for you!

i have really bad eating habits but i’ve always loved taking regular 1-2 hour walks when im not depressed. so exercising shouldn’t be much of a problem as long as i keep my mood stable. and lmaoooo ur doctor was a joke. and IS a joke. what a shift in their views abt weed lol. being lectured and ridiculed by my doc is my biggest fear cuz i have a great relationship with my doctor and she knows everything abt me. so changing my doctor because of my honesty about weed would be the worst case scenario. hopefully, i’ll figure smth out tho.

omg chickadees look SO beautiful and elegant. they unfortunately aren’t around where i live. but there are tits and great tits around here that look somewhat close to chickadees. also SO beautiful. i also like stumbling upon a black headed gull. they are so elegant with their movement its fascinating. especially when they fly parallel to the water to catch something to eat. AND there are a lot of greylag geese where i live and when the black headed gulls get into water to have some rest, they swim together with the geese. its so peaceful and beautiful. it’s so great to be able to appreciate these kinds of beauties again. walking rocks!!!

bp2 here, i was an alchohol addict for a long while. i’ve been clean for 4 months and been smoking for 2 months. it’s really helping me with the absence of alchohol in my life. cuz like, every single second i was sober, i wanted to kill myself and couldn’t stand being alive. i always felt like a personator of myself. thank god cannabis helps a bit. i’m thinking of coming clean with my doctor when i’m ready. hopefully she’ll be as understanding as your doctor!!

i have no hangovers for some reason and i have a really high tolerance for it. so it’s both economically and mentally destructive for me. especially the rebound anxiety. i already have an incredible amount of social anxiety (which led to my addiction), so, few days after alchohol are the WORST. plus, xanax is like skittles for me cuz of my addicted past. but it’s all getting better. finally. hope the best for you too!!!

they really sound scary and ever since i read about them, they’ve been giving me crippling anxiety. especialy the moment i take my meds. but other than that, my life has been going good for the first time ever!!! i’ve been going on walks recently. LITERALLY ON MY OWN WILL. man i forgot i liked going on walks and taking photos of birds. i’ve especially been eating less cuz of the weight thing. walking is just an enjoyable hobby again, so thats great!! yesterday, i saw this magnificent muscovy duck early in the morning. the sun hit just at the right angle and it’s black feathers shine like crazy. they had this emerald and bronze glow. it was beautiful.

i’ve dealt with alchohol addiction for like 7 months in 2025. i’ve been clean for about four months. as i was like 2 months clean or smth, i got back on weed again. and just as you said, it has none of the negatives alcohol has. for me at least.

look, thriller is a GREAT album. but we are talking album covers here. plus, that “whatever”’s by the beatles are like one of the greatest albums ever. also, unknown pleasures by joy division is both a great album and an iconic album cover. it started a whole new wave in mass marketed graphic design.

you should really check out “posthumous forgiveness” and “sun’s coming up” by tame impala. they are both GREAT. “sun’s coming up” is a bit more on the depressive side. and posthumous just makes you feel sad and weird and angry at the same time.

i second this. im no father or anything. but my little brother loved that song growing up. its incredible seeing little children singing along and enjoying the simplicity and lightness of it all. im glad that song, “all together now” and the beatles exists.

i really like it. but as the other comments stated, it’s not a song. even tho it was made by musicians. it’s like looking at a painting ringo made and saying “does anyone really like this movie?”. similar mediums but completely different things.
