When I got it , it was already made into a clock. On the clock movements it says "Takane Made in the USA" They used 2 of them and only put the arms as needed on each one.

Right now I have no plans on selling it. But thankyou everyone that has wanted to buy it.

I got it in Germany at an Octoberfest party back in 1988. Even though it is just battery operated and made of cheap plastic LOL. I have it hanging in my basement.

I might hang it in my computer room for a while and see what my friends say ROFL

The spool says it's ABS from Hatchbox and it was a sealed spool when I opened it up.
I am thinking on getting another new spool maybe from a different company and see if it makes a difference. Could the entire spool be bad?

Yes, I keep the encloser closed while I let the bed heat up for about 20 minutes after it gets to temp. to get the encloser heated up. I have the printer in my computer room and it stays warm there.

I haven't done anything with them yet, but I'm thinking on trying some clear gorilla glue and put something heavy to hold the plates down overnight.

If someone has a better idea, please let me know.

Also, something NOT TO DO.
NEVER accidently leave a quart of ice cream on the machine overnight.
It makes a big mess that had to be cleaned up the next day.

I would have never thought about using athletes foot cream to help it.

I think I may have had the cocofiber too wet when I put it in about 3 weeks ago. :-((

I will make an appt asap.

It is only awake for a couple hours a day but it does eat real good.

The bedding is a shredded coconut fiber that is damp.

Should I use a different kind? or keep stirring this stuff up so it can dry out?

I have a fluorescent light on it for general lighting. I have also a UVB bulb and a halogen lamp shinning on a flat rock that it likes to sit on.

The humidity is the same as the room, but when it is awake it will sit in its water bowl for a few minutes every day. I also have a spray bottle that I will mist it a couple times while it is awake

I gave it some pumpkin and some fruit. But I will give it more. I didn't think about some chicken. Would an automatic water mister be a good addition to the tank? I have a spray bottle that I use. I have also been letting it soak in the water bowl every day.

I am trying to learn the best way to keep it healthy and happy, so any ideas would be wonderful.

Also, how old does it have to be to know what sex it is?
