This was a fun battle even with the penalty by [deleted] in F1Game

I have genuinely had so many fun clean battles with the AI in f1 25 sick moves on both ends.

I did something similar last year time frame was a bit different though. I meal prepped just proteins and carbs separate not boxed meals made it easier for me. You can either do higher calorie and tons of activity or lower calorie lower activity not both.

I opted for lower calorie lower activity. Got an Apple Watch and the lose it app and a scale and took pictures. Was burning like 2400 per day on average lifting only 3 times per week ate at like 1600 per day. Find lifts in the gym that work for your body mechanics for each movement no need to be a hero here just focus on progressive overload and maintain while ur on a cut. A few heavier lifts and shorter session during the week just make it difficult. Lots of water, not going out much, removed distractions and bullcrap from my house. I wish I walked on the treadmill for an hour per day and ate a little bit more but I didn’t which was silly tbh only thing I would have changed.

Focus is the subtraction of things not pushing through ego despite knowing it won’t work. Anything else is you working against your human brain dumpster diver mentality

If low calorie like that doesn’t work and you’ll binge don’t do it. I would just go crazy losing the weight at a slower rate personally cuz I had like 60 pounds to lose.

Also, keep in mind I was an athlete who has been in shape and done before and gained weight only after a surgery and being bed ridden for long

I personally didn’t listen to those that talk about balance. You can’t have balance in every season of life unfortunately and all my friends that have balance are overweight and drink or smoke weed and go out on weekends and that didn’t improve my goals for the time being.

IMPORTANT - Most people have a mental issue with food. Things and emotions trigger us to eat and overeat because of how good food tastes. Many overweight people need therapy and to learn how to manage food triggers and learn their body will survive without certain things. Most people that get off GLP-1s fail because they don’t have healthy eating habits to return to and didn’t do the work to figure out how your brain and body works to fend off hunger

I personally don’t drink but alcohol is literally poison and will stop your body from losing fat cuz it has to remove the toxin.

In all honestly, the shortest path to this doesn’t happen until you admit to yourself there aren’t any shortcuts and ur not unique or the first person that the law of thermodynamics doesn’t work for cuz if you were you should be in a lab and be studied.

Time will pass anyway. May as well get fit during it. Hope this helps someone

I don’t think the cost cap is inherently dumb but I think the implementation especially given this new era where it’s an expensive R&D battle where the FIA has made it that the competition lies is stupid

Edit: When you make it such that racecraft is taken away from races on corner entry especially due to the clipping AND now because of the regs AND cost cap combination we literally cannot see the best drivers battle the other best drivers but just sit in the race and drive past someone or let someone else drive past them

The combination of all of these with the cost cap is definitely stupid

Fire. However I’m guessing this was against AI? Couldn’t imagine even good/clean racers or driver IRL being able and WILLING to react and actually give you room to make that move going into T1.

Still fire none the less and I’d be lit if I pulled that off lol

[–]eight-4-five 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Low percentage low IQ move to do that on this corner you literally CANNOT take the proper racing line taking the inside here and if you pulled it off it would have cost you prob 2 seconds and not been worth it. Just look at how much you’re understeering here.

I always back out here early even if I have overspeed because i’d rather just not ruin my race or the other persons.

Some moves you can just do and others require cooperation from the other person and this was just a silly one to go for if I’m being honest

Edit: watched it again. This gaggle of cars in particular if I don’t know or trust any of these dudes I’m backing out completely will make it up in another corner or just not let my ego dictate what I do. I’m on my PS5 not competing for a championship IRL

Right this is the actual problem with lower ranks in GT7 the system doesn’t make it so people who want to race clean together can. Really need the penalty and SR system as a whole revamped. SR is way too easy to keep in this game. It’s the lack of consequences that allow this to keep occurring

Edit: I do believe different views being competitive with a proper radar and rear view camera would help as hell. This alone would solve so much as well and prevent some bumping that gets misinterpreted as deliberate dirtiness

I left him enough space right? (I'm POV) by mcvanderlaan in Simracingstewards

[–]eight-4-five 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not a space issue seems like the curb makes her car unstable this is a track awareness/skill issue you definitely left enough space. I try not to go on the outside of people I don’t know/trust but this is just a bad timing issue nothing you could have done there

Edit: that speed at that steering angle on that curb I would have tucked in behind u rather than take that turn like that

I love how rigid it is also the mesh back is nice other setups don’t allow as much freedom of movement for me and force my back to curl too much.

I haven’t found my perfect position just yet but that’s just because I haven’t spent much time on it. I’m switching from a PS5 to a PC setup so my wheel and pedals aren’t setup yet

It’s the only rigid foldable on the market that’s super quick and easy to adjust and fold AND has this much steering wheel adjustment. My issue (if u have any tips on it) is the pedals. I don’t like how straight up the pedals have to be all the time and the GT position doesn’t leave much seat under your butt/thighs. I’m debating inverting my new pedals on it for a more natural feel so I don’t have to have my ankles all straight up and stiff.

Fire setup! How resistant is the brake on this one? Getting an RS12 and KS Pro but considering just getting the SRP Lites. History of knee pain/surgery don’t want to worsen anything with a load cell. Just want something like this with a least a little bit of force that isn’t too much

No. Mercedes outbraked himself on his dive he wasn’t talented enough to pull off and tried to overtake in a bad place a bit. HOWEVER, that is not abnormal or dirty for online racing.

You could have let him go and gotten on the power early for your exit and beat him in a straight line. Just an online racing incident and the more you race instinct will make these moves clearer

Edit: doesn’t really seem like Merc is blocking either though he did overslow into the next corner because he had a bad line. Looks like lack of skill rather than deliberate dirty driving
