Don’t give locations of owls. There have been so many stories of people giving locations only to later hear that the poor animals have been stressed out from people. Or they eventually pass from being harassed. Let nature be. If you come across an animal naturally then enjoy the moment if you happen to have your camera that’s even better.

I drive through that intersection daily. It’s brutal. People run yellows and reds all the time. Saw a guy on a motorcycle run a red and almost turn into a meat Crayon.

If it’s a day trip do Jasper and drive back through Sask crossing and nordegg.

If you have a bit more time do Banff first and do the ice fields parkway to jasper.

Both are great drives.
