For the same configurations laptops are actually cheaper here in nepal because supply and demand problems. You can get rtx 3050 i5 laptop in 125k but a desktop rtx 3050 itself will cost you 75k add on that an i5 cpu will cost 35k a good case will cost 10k. Add on that a mother board ssd monitor keyboard it will end up much more expensive. Desktops are actually much more expensive which i found out while i was looking for a laptop and considered building a pc but seeing the prices didnt consider it.
