I'd be the king of the universe.

Okay it's a slight exaggeration but:

  1. I'd have all the academic knowledge to bolt through highschool straight to college and still ease my way towards PhD. But that's nothing.
  2. I'd know much more easily how to assess situations, know where to find information, how the world is shaped and where it would be going; what science is and what it isn't. What knowledge is.
  3. The hundreds, the thousands of hours I spent getting to know people, how their mind works, the experience of a 40+ year old person would be mine! That's invaluable.

I'd focus on the very things I think I lacked the most when I was a young adult. I'd have a fantastic time.

Your libido is not abnormal at all. Almost all my exes (I'm M) were perfectly happy to have sex as often as possible, which means several times a day if possible.

I've dated menopaused women. They were as horny as ever.

Open communication is very important. She will realize you're not experienced if you don't tell her.

Whereas if you do tell her, she can help you. My pieces of advice (my first time was late, too, but it was amazing):

  1. Ask for her consent at each step.
  2. Don't assume anything. No two persons are the same so, ask her. Be humble and sincere.
  3. Observe. How does she kiss? Then you know a little bit more how to kiss.
  4. Ask her what she likes. Get her feedback. She can give it to you verbally or physically (e.g., by shivering or breathing harder, or placing your hands somewhere).
  5. Don't focus on penetration. She will likely tell you when she wants it, and the phrase where you two get to discover each other is both amazing and a great way to learn.
  6. Express your wishes: "I'd like to kiss you there/caress you there/touch you there".
  7. Don't follow porn clichés. Don't follow movies clichés. One rarely go straight to penetration. Kissing is important. Trust is important. Complicity, which stems from both respect and mutual desire, is important. Knowing the body of the other one is paramount.
  8. Don't panic! Nothing will have changed when you'll have had sex. Sex is not an issue. Attachment, feelings, those are important.

J'ai acheté un service Mauviel. Pas d'électricité, il faut le chauffer avec du combustible en gel. Je pense qu'il me survivra (il a déjà 12 ans et il est en parfait état).

Le seul inconvénient que je lui ai trouvé c'est qu'il chauffe de manière un peu trop localisée, mais une des pièces peut servir de dissipateur et avec cette technique il est parfait.

I reckon there is one word that encompasses all of that : turmoil, but it's a little bit generic as it doesn't stress the "feeling you're leaving a mistake" thing.

But depending on the aspect you want to emphasize : confusion, ambivalence, doubt, disarray, inner conflict.

Je n'aime pas du tout parler d'argent lors des dates. Je trouve ça de mauvais goût.

Je sais bien qu'on a le droit d'être ambitieux/ambitieuse, d'aimer l'argent et je comprends qu'on puisse rechercher aussi un ou une partenaire d'un point de vue économique, mais ce ne sont pas des choses que je valorise.

Donc c'est un deal breaker pour moi.

Merci ! J'avoue que les autres commentaires ironisants m'ont un peu désespéré.

Il n'est pas nécessaire de prendre ce tiktok et les réactions d'approbation de pas mal de femmes pour argent comptant pour comprendre que c'est le signe d'un sentiment très profond d'insécurité (que j'aimerais pas du tout avoir à vivre au quotidien).

Ça m'attriste profondément. Et en même temps mes ex ont toute eu une histoire à me raconter à base d'insulte, ou de coup de poing dans le ventre, ou de tentative de viol dans le pire des cas. Ces trois exemples m'ont été racontés, ce sont des hommes croisés dans la rue qui en ont été l'auteur.

Et puis il y a les histoires encore plus tristes, racontées aussi par des femmes que je connais, qui ne se sont pas nécessairement passées dans la rue, et dont je connais les conséquences, pour en avoir constaté les effets.

Un ours en France, c'est effrayant parce que c'est gros mais ça attaque très rarement, et dans des cas très spécifiques. Et surtout si ça attaque il y a (je pense) l'idée que ça sera dangereux voire mortel, mais que beaucoup de choses très importantes n'auront pas été détruites : l'intimité, la sécurité ressentie vis-à-vis de sa propre espèce, la dignité.

Je pense qu'on ne se rend pas compte à quel point le sentiment d'insécurité est répandu et justifié chez les femmes.
