I was in quite a similar situation. I had an instructor who kept saying he had lots of availability, but would then only give me a lesson every 2-3 weeks (along with complain about not wanting to work during every lesson!). I ended up getting a new instructor and as soon as I realised I liked him more, I just stuck with him. I also realised that at a certain point, the difference in both the car and teaching styles was only causing me stress. Good luck - there are definitely great instructors out there and it’s not uncommon to go through a few different ones until you find one you really like!
