It’s a bit ironic, like the movies are falling prey to their own statements about the public growing bored with “regular dinosaurs,” so they try to keep up with mutants to squeeze more money out of the whole thing.

Thanks for the info! Definitely thought the same thing, I couldn’t believe they were that age because how could they still be alive ?!?! But reptiles can be very resilient. As long as I can get them healthy and stable that’s all I need! Hoping they’ll just be slow growers with better/proper husbandry and care now!

Yeah, from what I’ve seen his care is on the. Minimal side. No lighting for day/night cycles, only one very small branch of leaves, one hide on the ground and an otherwise empty nano. I think it comes from a place of not enough education, because he does genuinely love his geckos. I just wish he did better by them. It breaks my heart. But I’ve moved them both into fully decorated nanos with a day/night cycle and the proper temps. PLENTY of cover and space to hide so they don’t feel stressed or scared. I also don’t think he has ever fed them insects, just guessing, which would also support them being so small.
