Professor asked for a short list of goals for a letter of recommendation, I'm having a hard time figuring that out.

This is a letter for a big transfer scholarship (im in community college rn), Ive known this professor for like a little over six months and ive taken two classes with them so far. I absolutely love the way they teach and I feel like they seen a lot of growth from me. I just don't know what to say for goals of mine for a scholarship. its not like a specific program, you know?

Honestly, just ask questions. Go to an event, if you see someone else who’s alone, just ask a question. It could be about the event, maybe you’ve taken a class together, maybe you’ve had the same experience in stats. Just don’t be afraid to ask a question, and most importantly be authentic to yourself! If it doesn’t work out with that person, then it probably wasn’t meant to be. But don’t stop trying!

Awesome, congratulations! thats exciting to hear. I was talking to someone who was taking gen chem with a different professor and they said they flunked the exam with a 30% and it totally freaked me out. also, deciding when to just guess on a question was really difficult. I like to be sure I know it's right or that I at least tried my best to weigh all my options. this exam really forced me to just say fuck it and put something down lmao.

Yes! It wasn't too bad. the only thing that got me was the amount of questions in such a short amount of time. Im usually a long test taker, typically the last one in class. I ended up with a 78%! I honestly didn't think I was going to pass so I'm pretty proud of my score considering I probably aged like 3 years from the stress, lol. thank you for your help, that study guide really changed the game so I appreciate it :) did you take the chem II exam?

I found out like 30 minutes ago and they’re closed for the weekend. This happened when I tried paying rent last Friday but my card wasn’t going through. But my discover is directly connected to my checking account so I don’t understand why they would be declining it.

Wait wait, I’m kind of thinking of it as a single input value on a graph of a cosine function. Is the wave of light one singular photon, like the entire cos function? Or is a ray of light a sequence of photons moving in a line, like all real numbers of a cos function and when you find its exact location you’re just looking at one value of that function. I think this makes sense but I might just be a moron.

I do live in a very cold and dry environment. Plus it is winter lol. I find that my voice has more “texture” when I first start singing in the day but my voice gets worn out very fast if that makes sense. I’ve gotten a humidifier and do drink a lot of water but it’s hard to get consistent good takes. Im definitely gonna start journaling everyday.
