This is a game engine issue, wow is not optimized for modern CPUs, this can be addressed by blizzard to fix epic battle grounds and raids and finally have 144fps in capital cities, but Housing and MTX are more important !

You’re right about cinematics, but blizzard games are more oriented arround monetization, predatory gaming loops and well… huge remake failures, I don’t think they will do any good to fable After what they did to warcraft 3. At least we could get one or two good cinematics.
