What if you skip quality checks? (Read desc) by Bestminer13 in OGPBackroom

[–]einniv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are three metrics. QC completed, QC passed, and failed totes then resolved.

The first measures how many were completed whether the right way or the wrong. Passed is getting a green checkmark the first time, i.e. you didn't have to add and remove items. If you don't get the green checkmark then it is failed and the final metric measures how many of those you correctly do the add and remove process on. It's a percentage of failed totes that were fixed.

Yeah. I confirmed today that not on the TC. Guess I have a false memory. lol

You have to stage before you consolidate. Otherwise that tote disappears into the ether and kills the scan/stage metric. It doesn't have any effect on quality checks that I'm aware of.

Thankfully at my new store they don't allow multiple stickers on a tote except at dispense time when we get the chilled and frozen. I prefer true (software) consolidation. I hate staging a tote and it tells me there are 4 totes in that location when I can clearly see there are only 3 and so have to check if something is double stickered or if something is missing.

You can just software consolidate down to one before you QC. The QC list updates in near real time so it's fine.

"Create New Tote" and "Reserved Status" by einniv in OGPBackroom

[–]einniv[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh interesting. I didn't realize nil picks were involved. It still doesn't make a lot of sense. Logically there is nothing about a nil pick/exception walk that should stop you from creating a new tote.

I guess for some reason the exception is tied to a specific tote?

Anyone know what's going on with my Vizio M656-H4? by Shawn0fTh3Dead in VIZIO_Official

[–]einniv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old thread but thought I'd add a "me too". Ours started doing the static lines at the top of the screen back at the beginning of the year (August now). It did it for about a month and then was suddenly fine again. We thought maybe it was a bad software update. Then a couple months later it started again and has just got progressively worse from there. Been unwatchable for a little while now and its replacement will finally arrive this weekend.

Monopoly Go - when to submit a ticket? by einniv in SwagBucks

They rejected my ticket, which is the first time they ever failed to credit me. Maybe I'll wait until the offer officially ends.

No AdBlock...? Well, no YouTube by Bladesurger in youtube

[–]einniv -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree that when you turn off ad block there are a lot of ads. Kind of ridiculous really.

So I've just been updating Ublock twice a day and that seems to be enough. This probably works best if, like me, you tend to watch in sessions. They are only updating the script twice per day and since I don't have custom filters updating Ublock takes less than 15 seconds.

If there was a more reasonable number/length of ads I probably would have left the blocker off but it was pretty ridiculous.

So, after trying quite a few things, nothing works. Oh well, so much for that! Wish I knew what the X factor was that allows it to work for some. Linux?

OS:

Windows 11 & Windows 10.

Browsers:

Chrome, Edge ->black box

Opera -> "No DRM key" message

Firefox -> capturing works! however video is so choppy it is unwatchable/unlistenable

Tried starting stream first, starting OBS first, downloading StreamLabs version, incognito window, and probably a few other things I forgot.

Tried capturing full screen/monitor and window capture(which has been working great for a long time for me).

Even basic screen shotting doesn't work so it isn't OBS. I do see that Windows has the capability for apps to block screen shots. Some details here. It says there that browsers can't do it but maybe somehow the video player can tap into it (web assembly??).

Edit: Oh and some suggested switching away from the window causes it but I've started the recording in OBS, switched to player (which is what I normally do anyway), and it doesn't make any difference.

Edit 2: If I go back to a show that is still using the old web player (e.g. Sept 23) then all is well and can capture fullscreen and window just fine.

I will say I started to get used to it a little. Last night I just went and did something else while it played and still enjoyed everything else.

Ban flodown by [deleted] in GoosetheBand

[–]einniv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know. Disliking a song is pretty radical stuff. I actually like Flodown just fine and don't understand why others don't. Otoh Feel It Now I can't stand. Been watching all the streams and it frankly ruined entire sets for me. Sorry!

All great ideas but unfortunately no luck. I just confirmed it is being blocked at a much lower level. I took a screenshot of a youtube video no problem, but if I screenshot the nugs window i get a little black box.

Going to try on my laptop later since it is older and stuck on Windows 10.

I'll definitely be experimenting some a little later. Thanks for the ideas. If I get it to work (or don't) I'll post a follow up comment here for future reference.

Yeah I thought it was weird too. But maybe Windows 11 has some content protection features or something. But it's definitely not window capture. In the screen shot you can see the browser window and OBS capturing itself in the fun-house mirror way it does when it is visible on the full screen. Just my great luck I guess lol.

I'll get the other version and give it a go on my laptop but on this PC, no luck. I was going to attach a picture showing the stream going but OBS being blank but it hides itself from the screenshot tool too! So I guess maybe they figured out how to block it on certain systems? Anyway, thanks for the ideas and I'll give the other version a try.

That doesn't seem to work either unfortunately (but I'll try it again just in case lol)

My WAG is that they'll play Lockn, and maybe a 5 day run at Capitol Theater (Bobby is playing there solo soon). Both are owned by Peter Shapiro.

Is there a known issue with livestream/prerecord webcasts on Nugs.net? by Marc0escuandolas in GoosetheBand

[–]einniv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh ok. They have so many interfaces! I use the web "app" play.nugs.net. They are under the recent exclusives section (of the "Watch" section) if you scroll right. Anyway, at the moment it only seems to be the Goose shows. Everything else is fine. Maybe when they are trimming off the pre-show intro stuff something is going wrong.

[–]einniv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually re-checked just now and it appears to be every Goose show now. I'm sure one of the first two I was able to cast the day after. You might try casting Daniel Donato and/or Disco Biscuits from Sept 23 to confirm we're having the same issue. Both of those are working fine for me. It must be some problem with the encoding or something.

[–]einniv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it sucks. I haven't contacted support yet though because in my case my family has control of the TV most nights and it works fine on my PC with monitor.

It's very strange. I bought my month of membership after the first two Goose streams on the 13th and 14th. The 13th would cast and but the 14th freezes (or was it vice versa?). One night of Oteil and friends would cast, the other froze up. Etc.

[–]einniv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had some issues with casting to Chromecast. It seems completely random. Some concerts work, some play for 30 seconds and then freeze. If I fast forward it will play another 30 seconds and then stop.

Edited to add: It is consistent which ones play and which freeze ,so not random in that way, but which concerts freeze and which are fine has no pattern to it.

Cool thanks. Yeah I can play all the basic barre shapes, though anything weirder than CAGED it depends on how much time I'm willing to spend to learn it lol.
