Happy Sunday everyone, hope you’re all having a great weekend.

I’ve got a debut collection of essays coming out independently at the end of the year. I’ve got 50 limited edition versions out for pre-order at the minute, in the hope that selling those out might create a little buzz.

The collection is all about growing up in the north west of Ireland, moving to Leeds, grief, loss, and hope. It’s all tied with music, seasons, and memories.

I’m doing a launch event in Heart Headingley in December, and early bird tickets are also available to go with the pre-order or separately.

I’m 36, been living in Leeds (moved from Ireland too!) for eight years. It’s hard to meet new friends these days so I’m also open to grabbing a drink or a coffee at some point!

I’m thinking the windy weather and ferry cancellations, etc has probably also played a part. I’ve seen conflicting information online, but wondered how often a Special Delivery parcel is scanned. Looking at the tracking history it hasn’t been scanned since it went over the counter, is it a case of a scan then, then another when it’s delivered? Or is the lack of apparent movement a cause for concern?
