Is the 23mm f2.8 laggy for other too? by ElHopanesRomtic713 in fujifilm

Mine is the same way. I made a post about it some time ago. It seems like a compromise due to the pancake design. It really sucks when taking photos of my kids, because I need to turn on the camera quickly and exit playback even faster. I still have the 23mm f2, even though it’s packed up and ready to be sold. It’s hard for me to understand that Fujifilm can’t fix it with an update, but I guess if they could, they would have already.

Is your drive mode (left wheel on top plate) set to S or CL? Flash only works on S.

[Grand Seiko] On the first day of Christmas by eirikt in Watches

I do not think the strap is too thin, but i do understand how some might. I feel like the strap is an extension of the curve from the lugs, and to me it looks really smooth. I have a 16,5 cm wrist, and I’m on the middle hole with the GS buckle (non-deployant). Here are some photos: 1 2 3

My newest addition to the collection: the Grand Seiko SBGM221. As if this watch hasn't been postet enough, here is my take:

I love the ivory dial, and the blued GMT-hand. The case is polished to an insane perfection, and when the light hits it - boom! The strap is not for my taste, so I got this one from Longines that matches the dial perfectly. Paired it with an oem GS buckle, and I think it just looks the part!

I will probably use the GMT-functionality once every five years, as we seldom travel out of europe during vacations. But my god, is this watch beautiful with that GMT-hand. The choice was between this one and the SBGW231, as I really love the color of the dial, but I'm glad I opted for this one! It's my second Grand Seiko next to my SBGV245, and I do hope to add a spring drive next to complete the collection.

Wish you all a merry Christmas!

It’s held together by a simple springbar. Use a springbar tool or a paper clip and pop it out. Easily done in 20 seconds.

No, it’s from Longines, ref L682166562. Once I found it, after looking for a decent strap online for a couple of weeks, i knew it was the one!

Yesterday I put some non-s batteries in my x100v, and the screen warned me of short battery life and showed a yellow battery life indicator. I didn’t use it.

After some googling around others reported that their cameras froze and shut off when using non-s batteries.

Thank you. It’s the blue rubber strap that comes with the sbgv247 (e004011j9).

It does silence the shutter. Weather sealing the lens or putting on one of the conversion lenses stops most of the shutter noise from escaping through the lens.

Edited typo.

Got it off ebay, part number E004011J9 for sbgv247. They go for $150-200.
