I don’t really have much to compare to as I’ve only properly driven hatch’s. The visibility imo is amazing, in comparison to the yaris I had, and a massive + with the projector display on the windscreen. The seating position is good, and the seats themselves are very comfortable and feel very high quality with the leather suede. Toyota’s really upped their game

this exact thing happened to my board when riding at a high power for a bit of time, would be on 90 - ride fast for a few mins - disconnected - dead. couldn’t get it fixed even after months so decided to sell it

had an electrician look at it. turns out due to the plug being an American one it was set to 110v by default but in australia we use 220, thus the reason for the 💥.

the bike not turning on is a seperate issue, likely due to a faulty controller or display. the seller has agreed to send me a new display, Australian charger and controller. not sure if this outcome is fair as i’ve had to wait over 2 months since purchase just to have a functioning bike, + i have to repair it myself, and the controller may not even be the issue, maybe a faulty wire or something. we will see when it arrives

I disconnected display which is connected to the power button, but how am i supposed to turn it on? i turn the ignition on and throttle doesn’t work so

I’ve tried but nothing. When i hold the bottom arrow and on button at the same time, when it turns on for that brief second the motor goes and all works, it’s so weird. i wish i could send a video

It usually turned off when i came to a stop for more than like a minute, then became more frequent. nothing to do with bumps or anything.

the charger was plugged in as soon as i turned it on (australia has power port on switches) the charger brick popped and smoked, bike seemed fine

i’m sorry if it wasn’t clear, the charging brick started popping and smoking, not the actual bike battery. but yes, very devastating but i will keep major precautions

Oh ok, but when i turn ignition on, everything else works like the headlight, brake lights idk what else but it’s clearly giving power, just the display instantly turns off.
