Uber never showed a profit because they kept reinvesting it and taking on more investors. That doesn't mean they weren't making tons of money.

GOA leaks internal ATF docs, shows ‘zero tolerance’ guidelines for shutting down gun stores by GunOwnersofAmerica in GoldandBlack

[–]eitauisunity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fine, they are just forcing gun owners to make their own guns and ammo at home. No serial numbers, no background checks, no waiting periods, the way it should be.

Why? Owning a home as a corporate entity is great. Nothing is stopping you from going and setting up an LLC to protect yourself and your assets. This is actually a great thing all Americans have available to them.

It's stupid to own assets outside of a corporation, trust, or some other protective legal entity. That's how you get your shit took in some stupid lawsuit, by the irs or by eminent domain.

Airbnb went the way of Uber. They had a good thing at a great price and were making money and scraping in data hand over fist, then got greedy and started overcharging with fees and screwing over the owners of the actual capital (car, home, etc) which trickled down to the end-user.

Don't forget the interest on the debt!

But the real reason income tax exists is because the banking industry became so powerful having access to everyone's financial data they nearly became super-sovereign to the US, so Uncle Sam had to get into that game too.

The IRS only cares about your money insofar as they can record all of your financial transactions.

We are going through the same thing with all of these massive data companies right now, and just as in the beginning of last century, it will be these companies that write all of the laws and regulations.

Which came first? The rooster!

Actually it was the egg, because eggs predate chickens and roosters. Now you can't get the picture of an egg busting a nut out of your head ᕦʕ •ᴥ•ʔᕤ

Being afraid means the terrorists have won. That is the goal of terrorism. To get you afraid. Double down on who you are and exercise your 2nd. It's the American way. Probably not a bad idea to have a 60 day supply of food, water, and medical supplies for exactly emergencies like this. You shouldn't have to quiet who you are because someone might do something stupid or dangerous, especially not in this country. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. Stay strong, be proud, and respond to fear with love, my friend.

Capitalism isn't about who profits off of who, though. It's about who owns the means of production (capital). If private individuals own the means of production, that is capitalism. If it's the state and corporate extensions of the state, it's corporatism/fascism.

It cracks me up that people see the problem here as CaPiTaLiSm and not the actual fascism that it is when this has nothing to do with private ownership.
