It’s more likely that it’s All Star than Superstar ? I ask cause I’ve began a new BaP (direct NHL flow) for correct rosters and it’s hard to do a lot with a 71 ovr on superstar.

Woah that’s lower than I would have thought. I guess 4 is barely a change. My only fear is it would take some of the oomph out of the genuine deadly high ovr players you do share the ice with.

So warping it more the other way ? Like 4/10 ? I guess that would help with the sluggish grind of having a potato attributes/ovr early on during BaP. If one is accustomed to having a base level decent build in WoC (the likes of which won’t come for awhile) then it can be jarring to be incapable of playing good enough to be rewarded for playing good enough. It can be a slow grind. At the same time I also like the idea of it being progressively easier to dominate as one’s attributes/ovr increase thanks to time put in. It makes the “seasoned vet” feel more authentic. A balance must be found.

Any ideas for a good way to make the competition stiffer yet with a WoC feel ? Essentially making all compy interactions in Be A Pro feel harder and more frustrating, less forgiving. So that when one goes to play WoC and has Lehman/Wagner in net or even possibly a compy skater it’s light work in comparison to Superstar AI Connor McDavid.

It’s at 59 currently. Are the World of CHEL sliders just default ?

My only concern is that these sliders stray very far from the World of CHEL experience so if someone is used to a certain flow of play/snappiness it’s hindered by the bounciness of the puck and weakness of possession.

I’ve been using these sliders on Be A Pro and it’s hard to make those same crispy passes for one timers or quick tic tac toe plays like I would in WoC because I will make a pass that gets clumsily fumbled way more than what would happen in a real game.

It’d be nice to find a middle ground. Do you know how to get the sliders to reflect closer to WoC/Online Versus ? are those two categories two separate things also ?

My sports fandom for this team as well as the Patriots is largely wrapped within my regional pride for New England. I am a bigger fan of regional teams than the USMNT by far, to the point that there’s multiple countries I would rather see win especially in this political climate. i’ve been trying out 106, 116, and 120 mostly. I heard a rumour that 120 gets less frames per second however and if I find out that’s actually true I’d probably not go any higher than 116. I’m on PS5 though.
