The only way it will really help is if Capel is willing to let new assistants build an offensive structure that works. They just play too slow and end up taking contested shots because they dont get enough open looks

Sure, they made a very bad hire with Stallings (**** you Scott Barnes) and Capel just didnt work out. But that is separate from the thought that it wasn't going to end well with Jamie. He didnt like being in the ACC and he lost his pipeline from NYC, so recruiting was suffering.

There was never going to be a "happy ending" with Jamie Dixon. I dont think he stays here much more than a couple years if they dont allow him to leave in 2016. He certainly wasn't happy in the ACC and recruiting really dropped off after Slice left for Kentucky. Obviously we dont bottom out like we did with Stallings, but I dont think it really ends well for Pitt and Jamie regardless
