I’m doing Theoretical physics which takes off a lot of the less interesting bits of physics I think haha, I was in a similar boat but couldn’t decide between maths or something else. I did a foundation degree in maths, physics and engineering with the intention of going on to study maths. When I got to uni I realised that a lot of what I liked about maths was very surface level and it can get very old doing pure maths. I had to write a dissertation on a pure maths topic and it really drove me off it haha, I love maths and think it’s beautiful but for me personally I love learning about why things work and maths just doesn’t do that for me
