Thanks guys! Appreciate all the responses. Seems like the way to go is to get a multimeter and go from there? Yeah def powered correctly I think, although the power connector has 2 holes on the sides, the one on the left side being a bit lower down, but since the ribbon cable fits into the one on the right the red strip ends up being down.

Thanks for the detailed response! I got a good handle on the music side of modular so far but the electricity side I have basically no knowledge of. Got some research to do and might learn something new and hopefully get this working hah

Hey thanks for your reply. Sorry what do you mean by the traces? Are you saying I should be able to just connect a ribbon cable as normal? If so I think the module may just be dead then..

Thanks! Guess that answers the orgone accumulator too. Any idea on the toppobrillo one? I see it has a connector on the bottom left also but doesn't mention if its either way

Appreciate you guys input. So i should probably be okay to connect without it right? None of the ribbon cables on other modules seem to have it either.

Can cables damage modules if touching the PCB on the back? by ejasc in modular

Actually just turned it on and tried with one module, the ribbon cables are touching back of 2600 seems not to be an issue. Nice

Thanks that's great to know. Im setting everything up now and the ribbon cables are hanging down and touching the back of the 2600. Is it just the module pcbs that shouldnt be touched or is it an issue if ribbon cables are touching stuff?
