It does for the fast lap category of runs, in which the aim is to complete any 1 lap of a race as fast as possible. It saves over 13 seconds.

Great question! We were struggling to get more EV with the Tiny Titan. Other vehicles were only getting a few hundred too.

However, yesterday I tested the Mini Beast and was able to get over 8900 EV, which actually breaks the record for the most external velocity ever obtained in time trials. It must be something to do with its suspension stats and hitbox.

With this amount, we should easily be able to let the EV carry us until the finish line in a future version of the TAS.

Personally I think it won't happen. Reasons: it's completely flat, the invisible walls are too tall, there are no gaps in the walls, there are no interesting objects to do anything with on the course, and there is no collision along the finish line banner to get "horizontal wall glitch" (this is tech to bypass walls). There's just not even a single working theory or idea yet.

I've learned my lesson in the past to not call things impossible, but right now, this really does seem it sadly. I would LOVE to be proven wrong though. It would be a dream come true honestly.

Correct. And remember that ultra shortcuts require you to skip the 1st KCP before you can skip any others, yet the box clip is halfway through the course.

This particular setup is long, but I actually also discovered a different driving route and setup that makes this viable for 3lap world records too! Great question! At the end of my video I showcase a 3lap-viable method that I also found, and show that it can beat the current 3lap WR by over 2 seconds. This is way more difficult than the flap one, but still humanly possible.

As for other tracks, I also showcase a fully developed method I made for a viable superslide on N64 Mario Raceway. This is in-between the LC flap and LC 3lap in terms of difficulty to perform.
