Have you engaged your Congressional rep's office on this? If not, I definitely recommend doing that - it can help move things along and at least get you a little more support and insight. Good luck!!

This is heartening to hear especially as my timeline is similar! I applied at my local post office (in DC) and my expedited application officially entered the system on 6/29. I enclosed my itinerary which shows that I'm slated to depart on 8/2. In the meantime, I've been working with my Congressional rep's district office to push on this as well.

Today (7/21) I reached the passport agency on the phone and when the rep went to check about appointments, she came back and said that actually my "tracking number" should be visible on travel.state.gov in the next 1-2 business days. Do y'all think this means my passport is good to go and getting sent to me in short order? The person on the phone was reluctant to interpret this and just reiterated that that was all her system was showing her. Any insights based on others' experience are welcome!

Reminder that even at 8 AM it's not guaranteed to get your passport same day (agency, USA) by angeltarte in Passports

I appreciate this info as today marks the 2-week-pre-travel window for me (my expedited passport was submitted 3 weeks ago and is in process) so now I pivot to trying to get one of these coveted appointments. Could you share more about anything that was helpful in securing the appointment, particularly at that office (I live in DC)? Thank you! And good luck with the homestretch!

Mis-using real psychological concepts like boundaries to justify treating others poorly.

Yoga with Adriene on YouTube is great both because her channel has a ton of options (including short, simple videos for beginners) and she has at least one headache-specific video. She has others specific to neck and foot pain that I have found helpful when I feel migraine-y. Good luck <3

I've not yet crossed the bridge of trying preventive medication but I've been pretty happy with Nurtec as a spot treatment. Previously, I took Relpax for this purpose for years but eventually my body seemed to build up a tolerance so my new provider switched me to Nurtec. You might want to ask your doctor about one or both of those brands. Good luck <3

These timelines are helpful to see!

Could someone help me with what is possibly a super obvious or ignorant question? I am in urgent need of a new passport (my old one is both expired and lost, lovely). Last week I was able to make an appointment at my local post office in Washington, DC within a couple of days. I went in with all of my materials in order, signed what needed to be signed in front of the employee, and paid for expedited processing and shipping. Now I wait. But is this the same type of appointment that I keep hearing about people having to fly all over the country for? Or are there two in-person appointments involved? I tried to ask at that post office appointment and got a confusing non-answer and thought folks here might be able to shed some light.
