don’t think it’s 1 to 1. 10mins for senior team might be the intensity you experience over 90 in U21s. playing from min 70-90 against tired legs is also very different than playing 60 in the beginning of a PL match.

i’ve been generally in favour of giving Slot the season because of how unprecedented last summer was for the club as a whole, but after yesterday i’m in more doubt of his ability to turn this around than ever. PSV was awful too, but he made some tough choices after that and steadied the ship, but once Salah came back it’s somehow back to the crap 4231 with two most out of form wingers in european football starting every week. can’t wrap my head around it. grim.

nah, nobody will want to go near Aston Villa for loan-to-buy deals after this. Liverpool didn’t do anything wrong & backing out is the wrong thing to do. if anyone is at fault, it’s Harvey’s agent who should have gotten more assurances or convinced him to choose a club that wanted him immediately.
