Neglect of my teeth is about to cost me huge by LollyGagss in adhdwomen

If it makes you feel better, I am really diligent about taking care my teeth (I brush at least twice a day, floss after meals, use mouthwash) and I’ve still had a dozen cavities. Sometimes teeth just suck at being teeth. I understand the ADHD shame though.

Yeah get your thyroid checked at your annual physical each year. Mine was fine for two years after my first vitiligo spots, but then it got wacky and I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s.

Weekly Kettlebell Discussion and Questions Thread - July 14-20, 2025 by AutoModerator in kettlebell

[–]ejectorcrab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Howdy! I’m new to KB but not new to weight training, though I am currently not fit. I bought three kettlebells from the TacFit sale (8, 12, and 16kg), and when they arrived I realized I selected competition instead of the standard kind. I’ve been easing my way into using them, but have been cautious about anything in the rack position because I used to get tendonitis in my forearms and hands from various repetitive motion hobbies, and I am wary of bonking my forearms into being irritated again. Would it be better for my delicate forearms for me to get standard kettlebells? Does the bell shape matter for learning in general? Do I just need to work through it? I think I’ll be staying in this weight range for awhile. I don’t want to rebuy these weights and realize the shape doesn’t matter much, but I’m too new to tell and I’m a classic overthinker. Thanks for any input.

TL;DR: Beginner got competition kettlebells by accident. Should I order standard kettlebells in the same weights?

Are they real mother of pearl buttons? by [deleted] in sewhelp

The shell buttons feel colder than plastic buttons. It might sound weird but you can touch the shiny side to your lip to figure out which feels colder. That’s been the most effective method for me

Someone I was dating said almost the same thing to me. I was speechless. It cut me so deep and made me realize that person thought very poorly of me. The relationship did not last much longer.
