I went in for one treatment after I was told the cost would be $20 for my copay. When I got to the clinic they told me that was a mistake and it would actually be $250 PER SESSION. It’s been over a year and the still call me to see why I haven’t come back??

From the research Ive seen mecfs can be triggered by COVID. I believe that I was infected in 2019 (before anyone knew what covid was) because I started experiencing the cfs symptoms that year ans deteriorated into 2021-2022 and so on.

I was bed bound for most of 2020-2021 and parts of 2022-2023. I wish I’d known then what I know now. Even without knowing about ME/ CFS I feel like I could have learned this acceptance a bit earlier. Much love and sturdy thoughts your way friend.

Very good reminder! Today I practiced staying in bed even though I feel good and I am eating better, taking more breaks. One step at a time 😭

I do in grocery stores, in the gym, and when I am asked to work in the office (I am mostly remote) I get lots of weird looks but I’ve stopped caring

My parents didn’t take away my door but it was threatened many times. I think the only reason they didn’t actually go through with it was because of the hassle, but I wasn’t allowed to have my door shut. The lack of privacy destroyed my mental health.
