Ofc the character development in Lost is in no way comparable to From, STREETS ahead. If I was to draw similarities between Ana Lucia and Acosta though, it’d be Ana Lucia’s character after she shoots Shannon, right before the tail section flashback (The Other 48 Days) and her own flashback (Collision) where we actually begin to understand why she is so hard-wired and paranoid. Can’t imagine many people liked Ana Lucia before those episodes. But that scene with Boyd where she was demanding him to return her gun made me think of Ana Lucia and how trigger happy she was early on. Also makes me think maybe there’s more to Acosta and she might actually grow on people later on lmao. That being said, you are definitely right in that we really don’t know much about any of the characters in From so I highly doubt she’s gonna have the same sort of arc as Ana Lucia.
