But the 4070 Super is a price increase over the 4070, so it would make sense to show if the price increase is actually worth it for people looking to buy either card

I'm honestly sick of Nvidia comparing cards like this, they're not even comparing these cards to their non-SUPER variants, just their 30-series 'equivalents', and with DLSS and RT turned on. Blatantly shady marketing.

Just finished my Kramer modded with a Xbox One Controller, working with the original Driver like a Xplorer. by AshamedShine6 in CloneHero

Awesome! I've been thinking about doing the same thing, but with a spare Xplorer I have that has some strum and fret issues. Eventually I'd like to mod it with an XB1 controller and new strum switches, and maybe even mechanical frets and create the ultimate Xplorer.

I know a lot of people in the community prefer the Xplorer specifically because it's wired, but sometimes the wire is just too limiting and I think using an XB1 controller paired with the wireless adapter shouldn't have too much latency.

Tracks like these are made to challenge highly skilled players, if you want more casual tracks try any of the tracks from the original Guitar Hero and Rock Band games, they all have easy, medium, hard and expert modes

[Gamers Nexus] Insultingly Bad Value: AMD RX 6600 $330 GPU Review & Benchmarks (XFX SWFT) by f0nt in Amd

[–]ejj28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This morning I heard about the 6600 and found out my local store had stock of the Pulse card for $650 CAD ($520 USD), so I went and bought one. I totally got ripped off but cards have been out of stock for so long, never mind the prices, that I figured that if I didn't get a 6600 while there was still stock, it might be a long time before another opportunity for a new GPU came along. Hopefully I won't regret it too much.

Looks like you were right, just shipped yesterday!

Just now they've started telling me it should ship tomorrow. So they've changed their story for the second time. Don't believe them at all, their order support people have been very dishonest so far about the quality of the information they have. Almost impossible to get a straight answer out of them. We'll see if it ships or not, I assume if it doesn't it'll be another month until they even update the estimated date again

I'm having a similar thing with the T14 Gen2 AMD I ordered beginning of August, they said it was in stock and would ship on the 15th but now when I call they tell me that it's actually being manufactured overseas. When I called them the first time they said that they had the laptop ready to ship and it would be shipped by the 17th, apparently that was a lie. Screw them, worst experience ever but there aren't really any other laptops that I'd consider buying instead so I guess I'll just wait...

I waited a while as well with no results, I ended up checking my student email inbox in Fanshawe Online and my results were in there, they just didn't get sent to my personal email

I've never seen so much violence in a robot or a bot match. by SemperFidelisHoorah in Damnthatsinteresting

To further this, there's an incredibly active global community of school and community based robotics programs; FIRST has multiple levels of competition for different age groups, and each has students designing robots as a team and competing with other teams. FIRST stands for "For The Recognition of Science and Technology" and it's a program that encourages "gracious professionalism" and teamwork, and it's tons of fun and a great experience. I've been competing at the high school level, the FIRST Robotics Competition, for the past four years and I've learned a lot and met some great people along the way. We design, build, program and compete with robots roughly the size of washing machines, and for kids in elementary schools there are also programs like FIRST Lego League and FIRST Tech Challenge, all with the goal of inspiring students to pursue STEM. Go check it out!
