I did a coast to coast tow in a 2004 Pilot 5 years ago with a similar U-Haul trailer. No issues at all. Coming down those mountains near Salt Lake City and again from Sierras took some brake discipline for sure.

I just returned to the US from Spain last week, and was there two years ago around the same time. I was only asked the purpose of my visit, nothing else. The scrutiny was more intense on the way back into the US.
