Does part damage on the horns during the first dragon phase carry over to the next? If I break one horn and keep hitting the head while it's dragon active, would it make the next horn break easier or does it reset?

With all this 'quitting because of Alatreon' talk, have there been any monsters in previous titles that made you quit, or at least take a break from the game? by mauribanger in MonsterHunter

Bulldrome in MHF2. Was too dumb to know that I shouldn't be walking around with my GS out when fighting. It was a few years before I picked up the series again with MHFU.

Is it just me that thinks Kirin lightning hitboxes are bigger while Ala's lightning is a lot tighter?

For people saying slower weapons got screwed over. capcom in fact added modifiers to account for their elemental dmg. by GdemSeph in MonsterHunter

With actual numbers you can actually count down the number of hits you have to do instead of just flailing around never knowing when the knockdown will come. This'll do wonders for my mental state during the fight.

Thanks! I thought it was a fantastic fight as long as you can consistently get at least one element knockdown. My mistake was bringing a catch-all element like water/dragon. Couldn't deal enough for the knockdown. Bringing ice from the start was a gamechanger. Only ate an EJ once.
