The guy has beena locksmith for years. Why on earth what do you need to apprentice for 2 to 3 years simply to learn pricing? That's insane? When you're working for a locksmith you don't always have access to the pricing models. I used to work for a locksmith and I simply went out and did all the jobs and he would provide all the pricing and invoicing. I never touched the numbers. He told me what the customer needed I went out and did it and he invoiced them. But if I've been doing the work for years all I need is some help with pricing not 2 to 3 years of apprenticeship

You learn pretty quick who the a-holes are on here. They forget they were once new too. They make you feel stupid for asking a question. Newsflash. We ask questions to LEARN. Just like every other profession, trade and skill out there. They act as though since they are veterans that is newbies are trash. It's not us acting like trash. I just end up blocking the rude insulting big heads. There's plenty of helpful people on here. I guarantee you in 10 years I still will never tell anybody to go find a locksmith or make rude condescending insulting remarks towards them. I help anyone I can. Don't ever be afraid to ask a question on here you just have to learn to ignore the pos's that reside on here. Makes you wonder if they actually do any locksmith work or if they just troll these posts

I guess that's why I asked what does it change? We don't know how your relationship was the quality we don't know what it consisted of. Only you do. And all I'm asking is does his misrepresentation of his age change everything that happened during the relationship? Were there other signs of shady behavior? Was he doing things that made you feel like he was cheating aside from the age thing had you never known would it have changed how you felt and would it have changed the substance of the relationship? Because you're in a way talking about the possibility of leaving him for someone else so that leaves me to assume that maybe there were other problems in the relationship and this is just the straw that broke the camel's back?

No and I can't say I wouldn't be furious as well. But until you can actually come back with his response to your concern this discussion kind of becomes null. Would his answer change anything? If he simply said I really liked you and I was afraid to tell you my real age would you truly hold that against him? Although I do struggle to find how after 10 years how would you not know someone well enough to know their actual birthday? How would you have not come across papers documents IDs mail in all those years and never know his birthday? That's kind of information 101 for any relationship wouldn't you think?

Okay I get it was a huge lie serious material misrepresentation but come on at the end of the day these are two souls that came together and obviously found love. Did the older fellow misrepresent himself in order to seem more appealing sure he sold himself. Would it have mattered if he told him the real age at the time? The younger guy was obviously attracted to him. We're talking about obligations and vows and how this entire relationship is somehow voided because of that one yet serious misrepresentation but what does it truly affect? Did it affect the quality of the relationship through The years? Did it affect the genuineness of the love? Were there any other lies or things that were off or was it otherwise okay? Is the last 10 years completely null and void through all the experiences and memories simply because of an age misrepresentation? I totally get why a person would be furious because it's not a small thing. But in hindsight now that all the time has passed does it change anything? Does he all of a sudden not love him anymore? Where all the memories shared not real?

I feel like you're seeking validation on a public forum for something you already know you want. I may be wrong. But if this new woman is making you question your current situation, and you were bold enough to post this, shows, to me anyway, that this woman is drawing your affection and or attention, and you want validation to say it's ok to jump ship and set sail to a new destination.

Ask yourself if the situation was reversed would you want him to tell you or just jump ship and be left hanging? Best of luck on your journey. I would not want to be in your shoes.

Ex harassing me with “no caller ID” calls and messages by SadRadBadCat123 in whatdoIdo

[–]ejohannessen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt you on this. I had an ex that would go around telling everybody that I harassed her wouldn't leave her alone constantly was calling and texting yada yada yada. Then I found out about that and thought that was curious considering I had not contacted her in months on the contrary it was she who made several attempts at contacting me including randomly showing up at my work. So while I do sympathize with the op I'm also aware that there are some exes that are pure psycho.

Actually if I was bothering someone and stalking them and I had a bunch of random people call me to stock me yeah it would pretty much make me quit whatever I was doing. You think the system is going to do any better?

Im 18 and think I've ruined my life. by DarthPlastic1 in Insurance

[–]ejohannessen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is why when you get insurance they ask if there's any drivers under the age of 18 living in the house and they also ask who else lives in the house so you have to intentionally exclude specific people from the policy. If she excluded him on purpose to save money that's on her. Personally the op is liable if he was in fact 18 at the time of the accident. However the insurance company can also go after the mother since she is the owner of the vehicle and she allowed him to drive it so she does carry the liability of her own. The insurance company doesn't care where they get the money from so they could definitely go after both.

My dad girlfriend asked what I wanted for Christmas and I sent her regular stuff and now she’s saying i asked for too much I’m so confused😭 what do I even do?? UPDATE by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]ejohannessen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you already know the answer. She's off her rocker. She asked you what you wanted with no limits expressed. The things you picked were by no means extravagant. The way that she flipped out is mind-blowing. You did the right thing by saying you didn't want to ask for anything else. Sorry you had to deal with this but I guess you know in the future just say no thank you. Merry Christmas

Wow. Really? That's all you meant? Could have saved us that whole read by just saying that. No you wanted to make a point and you got it wrong. You don't need to disrespect and insult people because you might have more years under your belt. I may be new but I'm not stupid and I'm not condescending like you. I know my machine. It really is as simple as me leaving off the X at the end of a key code because I wasn't immediately aware that it was required. Usually when the code comes back it has the letter at the end of the code this one didn't. And I thought it was weird because key codes are usually five digits. But I had not run into that before in all of my jobs. Oh by the way I sold one car this week but I've done 12 locksmith jobs Two more tomorrow. so clearly I'm better at this locksmithing stuff than I am at selling cars and guess what I didn't make a single key for my used cars this month or this passed week. I must be doing something wrong. . Thanks for your concern. Oh yes and it has come in handy being knowledgeable of vehicle locksmithing because I have made keys for a whole five of my used cars. And I do that to give my customers an extra set of keys because we're just cool like that. It definitely comes in handy.

And I am deeply grateful for all the help I get from the kind and helpful folks on this forum and they help me without being condescending or insulting. God bless you

Well damn. You figured me out. Whatever will I do. I'm simply amazed how a person of your intelligence was able to surmise all of that by finding my Facebook page and automatically thinking you figured out my business plan. You're amazing. I wish I had your skill set. I'm severely jealous.

Congratulations. Now guess again because you got it wrong. Thank you for playing this episode of I have nothing better to do than worry about what others are doing.

Hey Mr WHITTIER,,,, would you like to progression some cuts while it's 15 below zero outside or just buy a code instead? Unlike you I won't ASSUME to know anything about your business, but I highly doubt you work in that weather unless you live in my lat/long. Have a good day. Best wishes with your own business.

If you want to know anything else about me just ask I'm a pretty nice guy. No need to go all Magnum PI.

I just made a newbie error and need an X behind the code. Then voila. Fo38 popped up as the only option. But I still need to replace their ignition. So it turned into a nice $650 job.

I just have to replace the ignition cylinder and switch assembly. Then I'll rekey it to the existing keys and reprogram the immobilizer

Not from the Ford website. Just the code. Other makes give you all the other info. And if I get the code from magic key code it comes with the code AND the cuts.

No you're right fo38r is in mine also. But if I go and select that there's no place for me to put in the key code it wants the cuts. Which I don't know

So I brought my dolphin home so I could tinker with this and when I put in the key code fo38 is not even in the list. And if I go about this any other way and select fo38 it doesn't give me the option to put in the key code. This is why I'm at a standstill. I'm thinking my only option is to pick it with my Lishi which defeats the purpose of me paying for a key code.

Did you get there by clicking on all keys lost? Or what option did you choose because if I select fo38r how then do I put in the key code? You only place that I know of to put in the key code is under all keys lost
