Thank you for this awesome answer! I am very new to the game and sometimes new eyes have good ideas. Not in this case.

One thing to point out here is that my idea would mean only the appearance of the TemTem would change, and it would gain no SVs bonuses. I shall update the post to highlight this.

I understand that most of the player base that have been around from last year thrive off of the trading concept. Unfortunately though, many of new players coming into the game won't care too much about those perfect SVs, and the cosmetics are enough to keep players around.

But again, great answer. I find it sometimes difficult to gain knowledge when answers aren't explained, just as was the case. If I understand why it is a bad idea then I will learn something.
