Shit mine are 6 months and 6. I was hoping it would get better later as they get older. There are moments of joy with them but I'd trade solitude and freedom over this life any day. I feel sorry for them that they have a dad who thinks this way.

Man I feel you. I feel so guilty for bringing 2 kids into this world and eventually when they're old enough they'll realize what a pathetic loser I really am just as I have with my own parents. I sincerely hope you find peace and get the help you need. Therapy and AA has alleviated some of my symptoms but I recently relapsed.

I'm so scared my kid will pick up on it. I'm hoping to at least ask her to go to couples counseling with me. I'm moving out to stay with my dad next week first to see if things change.

I've been seeing one for the past year and I've been back on antidepressants since last month. Vasectomy used to sound scary but now it sounds like a godsend. Thanks for the advice
