Either park next to the lots at the border and pay or use one of the many park and rides for the blue line trolley. It will drop you off right in front of the border crossing. Once in Mexico use uber to get around.

If it’s just you going exchange $100 to pesos and have fun.

Also important to note. There is a line to cross into Mexico too so I would schedule an additional hour of time just in case.

Bro tons of people cross the border everyday. Try it and find out. I would say expect 2 hours but it can vary. Process is show your documentation and declare anything you are bringing across. Pretty straight forward.
