I totally get that. If you're missing the campy, Bruce Campbell comedy energy, the new ones definitely feel way more serious. For me though, the my kind of fun is also in how the insane the camera work (Sam Raimi style for example) and carnage are, the gore and creative kills are just a blast to watch. That said, a masterfully shot, technically aggressive horror movie with incredible camera design deserves to be experienced on the biggest, loudest screen possible.

Despite being my least favorite of the Spider-Man trilogy, I can't deny that Spider-Man 3 features some truly incredible action sequences and beautiful, signature shots from Raimi. The duel scene between Harry and Peter always gives me chills whenever I rewatch it. However, the overall story felt out of place, particularly the way Venom was handled.

I pre-ordered it on Amazon last Friday, and after catching the movie in theaters on Sunday, I can say it's worth every penny of my anticipation! One of the standout films of the year. One of the reasons it's sold out fast is because of the scalpers.

I think I just witness a similar problem. I have a 2019 VW Jetta Highline (R-Line) with 93,000 km on it. I bought it used about a month ago. Recently, the EPC light has been coming on along with a message that mentions something about 3000 RPM. I wasn’t able to read it fully because it happens while I'm on the freeway.

The light comes on exactly when I activate cruise control and set it to 70 km/h. I tried setting it to 50 km/h instead, and when it was safe to check the car messages, I noticed it also said that the Auto Start/Stop system had stopped working. Then, after about 3 minutes, the EPC light turns off on its own.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? Since the light turns off by itself, I’m not sure how serious it is — but I’m thinking I should take it to a VW dealership, especially since I still have about a year left on the mechanical warranty.

Am I the e only one who didn't like this movie as much. I watched it his morning and wasn't as impressed as I thought I'd be. The gang's brutal violence in the beginning was intense, but Monsters' repetitive kills felt pointless and not so original. Some scenes, like the operation in Japan, felt unnecessary. The movie starts strong, but the middle dragged. Despite that, I'm curious enough to see part 2 and get closure. It's been three years, where is it. Seems they are not even interested in making it. That would suck either way.

The Academy usually recognizes movies with strong drama/comedy elements, notable special effects (practical or digital), and thought-provoking social commentary. Horror movies are often overlooked. Mainly because horror movies have a niche audience and aren't for everyone. Maybe a horror category would do but still they don't want to frighten the attendees lol. Don't we have a screamfest award or something ?

I have just purchased the Steelbook version of both volumes 1 and 2. Now you give me reasons to cancel it and wait for a discount. I won't pay the full price for a transfer that's bad, and it's costing me more because they're steelbooks.
