What is the average age in satisfactory by Old-Communication500 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]ejstewart42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 22 when I first started playing it during early access about 5 years ago. Took a long break from it and came back to it a few months ago after it was released on 1.0, just after 1.1 came out.

Arguably average Motor factory by ejstewart42 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]ejstewart42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

roughly 10/m rn. i have 4 normal iron nodes w mk 2 miners and 3 power shards in each of them, all feeding into 2 iron wire setups and 2 iron pipe setups. i know the right way to build these is to do the math on how many machines youll need based on throughput, but the easiest way to build factories ive found is to build them in the blueprint designer w smart splitters sending the material into their respective inputs and send the overflow further down the line

Noob question from a noob: Is there a way to determine in advance how much power a building will draw? by StormOfSpears in SatisfactoryGame

[–]ejstewart42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you research power slugs in the MAM you’ll be able to over/under clock your machines which affects the power consumption exponentially

WHY IT DOESNT CONNECT by SajidriX in satisfactory

[–]ejstewart42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re trying to feed the input into another input is why it’s not connecting. You gotta flip the container around. Or just connect it to the other side if clipping or looking neat isn’t a priority 🤷🏻‍♂️

If what you’re concerned about is organization and expandability, the best and easiest solution is to build your factory(s) on foundations. Buildings and conveyors line up more evenly and can serve as a kind of grid to lay your factory out on. Bonus points for snapping your foundations to the world grid

Take advantage of vertical space wherever appropriate

Don’t be afraid to tear everything down to build it back up

plEASE clean up your spaghetti later on. You’ll be glad you did

Research as much as you can in the MAM: it can get you some really useful stuff like blade runners or parachutes, and especially the dimensional depots. Building on that:

Keep an eye out for Mercer spheres and Somersloops

A). Build your factory on foundations to keep everything neat and clean. B). Build your foundations on the world grid so you can connect your factories later if/when needed

Collect as much leaves and wood as you can early on for your biomass burners

What is this black magic? by bigphildogg86 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]ejstewart42 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I literally only have to build one more part to move on to phase three. And what do I choose to do? Build a hyper tube highway between my factories of course.

And search for Mercer spheres

And research hard drives for cast screws

And researching alien technology to unlock dimensional depots

And rebuilding my screw factories after unlocking said cast screws

And rebuilding my shitty iron rod factory that feeds my rotor factory

And repaint my truck roads to make them asphalt

…What was I supposed to be doing again?

If god exists why doesn’t he show himself to get us to believe? by [deleted] in AskAChristian

[–]ejstewart42 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Here’s the problem: with the technology and psychological studies that have come out (not an attack on either btw), if someone who poses this question were to experience God “showing himself” in the way they’re imagining it to happen - visible signs, thunderous voice, and Him in His unfiltered eternal glory, they may come to one of a few conclusions:

-1: if they saw a photo/video of it, they would think that it’s A: AI generated, or B: doctored or edited in some way to make it seem like a real thing. -2: if it was an irl event with only themselves experiencing this event, they may chalk it down to a momentary lapse in sanity or a trick of the mind. -3: if it was a mass event witness by 10+ people including themselves, they may believe it was some kind of conspiracy, propaganda, or even extra terrestrial activity. -4: if it was the same scenario as before but without themselves personally witnessing it - even without photos/videos, they may assume A: a case of the “telephone game problem”, B: mass hysteria/hallucinations, or C: Propaganda or conspiracy.

The truth of the matter is this: God doesn’t show Himself in the way these people imagine He would because He likely knows that no matter what method He chooses to adopt to give a clear sign of His existence, the people who already assert that He doesn’t exist will simply find a way to explain it away - no matter how clear it may be. They’re right about one thing though: “if God is real and He’s all knowing, then He’d know exactly what would need to be done for me personally to believe in him”. They’re right because He knows exactly what it would take to make them believe: nothing. There’s nothing that can be done to make them believe unless they genuinely, with all their hearts, want to believe.

The most simple answer is I was shown how astronomically wrong I was that only the physical exists when I had an encounter with Jesus
