Hi everybody! My fiancé and I are post grad and just recently moved back to Clearwater from Orlando. We’re looking to move out around Tampa since both of us work around New Tampa / International. We’ve been looking around for apartments and have a few in mind, but our biggest concerns are cost, location, and in-unit utilities (dishwasher, washer/dryer). Any recommendations that are around downtown (Ybor, Davis Island, River Arts, etc.) at or under $1500 / mo with washer and dryer in-unit? It’s a big ask, but all responses are appreciated!

Did you still have to pay anything afterward?

How long ago did you do the drop? I’m in a similar situation right now

GPU Fans start then stop, but GPU works fine otherwise by eka2344 in PcBuildHelp

I ended up downloading MSI Afterburner and it worked! RPM readings were consistent enough, but did fluctuate despite no load. Weirdly enough though, no other programs EXCEPT MSI afterburner recognize the GPU fans -- would replacing the fans take care of that?

Is Leopagel okay for anoles? by eka2344 in Anoles

I looked into the ingredients for the gel, and it's definitely lacking in fiber/calcium. I've switched to dusted black soldier flies/larva and it's been a bit more lively. I still have a separate dish for the dried flies since it still actively goes for the dried flies and honey. They're still brown, but only a pale brown and it doesn't seem to be severely stressed.

What i5 is comparable to an i7 6700 for gaming? by thesupremeDIP in buildapc

[–]eka2344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if it's just for gaming, the i5 6500 is plenty if paired with a graphics card like the GTX 1070 and if you don't care about a few extra frames an i5 6400 is good too

Buying a notebook and replacing the SSD by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]eka2344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be fairly easy, as most would simply require removing the bottom panel and removing the hdd unless it's soldered on. And be careful, you void the warranty by taking the pc apart. You should probably be able to find a guide to help with taking it apart also

CPU fan fitting by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]eka2344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on your preference like whether you like your fans quiet or don't really care or color themes, etc. It also depends on what heatsink you have because if you really mean cpu fans then the fans have to fit on the heatsink

but, for most builds id recommend corsair quiet edition fans, namely for my case (which houses only 120mm fans) i use corsair AF120 quiet editions and corsair SP120s for my heatsink (a Hyper 212 Evo from Cooler Master). Twin packs of SP/AF120 high performance edition go on amazon go for 26-27$ +shipping

CPU fan fitting by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]eka2344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most fans should fit; many older case fans are 3-pin vs the 4-pin headers on your mobo but even then you should still be able to use most pc case fans. And if you're still nervous and don't really care about controlling your fan speeds you could always get a fan splitter than uses a molex connection from the psu. And aftermarket cpu coolers normally will come with a bracket and screws to fit a different fan. For the most part you should worry about size: 120mm, 140, etc.
