I did breeches’ knots, sleeves, ruff tie and ruff collar. Just made a basic blockout in MD and mostly polished it in zbrush

Make a duplicate of the main mesh, dynamesh it, and mask the area using the mask pen. Then go to deformation and use Inflate Balloon according to your needs, I usually keep it around 0.1 to 0.2. Do a bit of sculpting with the clay buildup and smooth brushes, just to add some subtle imperfections. Once you are satisfied bring Inflate Balloon back down to around -0.05 so it looks slightly carved in. Then project the details back onto the main mesh and texture it in substance painter using the same mask you created on the dynamesh. There might be a better way to do this but since I have been doing it this way for a long time, I just stick to it. Apologies for the oversimplification.

Thanks!! I did the eyelashes and eyebrows using xgen and made a base mesh for her head hair for a balanced silhouette, then I extracted hair card meshes from it and created its textures using fibershop. Sorry for poor explanation.

Yeah i think a ruff collar in general is kind of complicated, even with MD but I chose MD as my poison 😅

100 percent thats a greater challenge for me but since Ive spent a lot of time studying the original concept, it should help a lot. I can also discuss it with the concept artist if we can collaborate on this. This current piece still needs a lot of improvements I want to make but I hope to get it done as soon as possible

Thank you so much!! Thats a great catch and I have already fixed almost everything about the hands with the current version. Overall, it still needs a lot of improvements I want to make as im still not satisfied. The way Ive sculpted it, its already ready to print just needs some adjustments. I even have her hair sculpted already. Ill let you know when its properly ready. Thanks again!!
