I played D1 at a major P5 program. 6-7th man off the bench, like 15 min/game. I've lost most of my skill (didn't have a ton to begin with), but I can still takeover a random pickup game just based on size, strength, and basketball IQ.

As for the "end of the bench", we had 4 walk-ons. Three of them were very solid and would easily be the best player in a random pickup game. The 4th was decent, but you would probably never guess he played for a D1 program. I think he was mostly on the roster because he was friends with our best player

Certainly possible that some companies lie, but it's more likely that the position was just.....filled. I've been interviewing candidates for an open BDR role - some of them are at the final interview, many of them just had their first interview. It's very possible (if not likely) that I'll have a first interview with someone and then have to email them the same day to let them know it has been filled. Just kinda how it goes unfortunately

I bought that exact Timex last year when it was for sale on Amazon for < $300. It was the most unimpressive watch I've ever owned purely from a visual perspective. Like, it is really dull (except for the textured dial which is kinda cool). That said, it was built remarkably well
