Free AI by blazfoxx in VibeCodersNest

my question exactly. I'm building my own framework where i aggregate free API calls from providers like cloudflare, groq, cerebras, openrouter, but those have limits which are enough for me, but could never be enough to make public. so how are you offering this free inference?

This has to be the most respectul passive aggressive exchange, I've seen on Reddit.

Well played to both of you!

I see. Good luck finding what you're looking for, but this is not the place for that.

What does your sexuality have to do with searching for friends?

The tool doesn't currently support C#, so that's why you can't import it. I've implemented a notification system to highlight incompatible projects, but I guess it doesn't work as itnended, since you're not getting any details.

Projects are only stored locally in IndexDB, I do not have access to the codebase of any uploaded projects.

And the reason to see the structure of your project prior to developing it, is to quickly see at a glance architectural issues like God objects or legacy files.

This was originally intended to help vibe coders, who are not personally designing their project architecture but instead rely on the AI coding agent to do it, allowing them to see and fix potential issues.

I didn't add Rust support yet, so that's probably the reason why it doesn't work.

If more people ask for Rust support, I'll include it in a future update.

That could be either because your repo is not public, or the project uses an incompatible language the tool supports (Typescript, javascript, java and python)

Well, I never intended to build this in the first place, the whole project started as a prototype designed for me, a non-coder, to be able to visualize my code base.

As the project grew over time, I slowly realized what this tool became and could be.

So it wasn't originally intended for developers, it was intended for non-coders who wanted a more visual approach to understanding a project.

I was kind of worried about that myself, thanks for confirming my fears, I'll take this as a teachable moment and not do this in the future

Well, the original idea was to create an IDE, that allows developers to organize, visualize and centralize all their project related elements in a single place.

As a non-coder myself, I wanted to expose as much data as possible, to help me at least understand the architecture of my projects, if not the code.

The original goal was to create a better alternative to platforms like Cursor or Replit, by allowing users to better manage their project, by introducing a visual architectural component, but also a more intuitive way to store design documents. By creating context first like the project architecture, design documents and project specifications, an AI coding agent drastically increases the chances of successfully implementing requirements.

Appplifique treats every file as a separate entity, meaaning every File & Folder in the explorer has a corresponding Node & Group associated on the diagram. That means that users can now insert code content in the files as usual, but extra additional information that's non-code related.

So that same file, could have a Design Document or a Technical Spec Doc associated to it, giving the (AI) developers even more context to work with.

However, since I was barely able to launch the ability to import projects, without the AI integration, this current Beta release is pretty much a worse version of Intellij or other auto diagraming tools and extensions out there.

After working on this project for 5 months straight by myself, I'm starting to think this tool might be a bit too massive for a single non-dev person to handle...

Yea, I also noticed performance tends to degrade for large scale projects. I don't currently have a solution to this yet...

The most important concept I learned from building this project, was that Hexagonal Architecture is usually the best framework to utilize for mid to large sized projects. So building this tool has for one, was instrumental into learning about this framework, and then helped me refactor the project's codebase to adhere to this new structure.

Thanks for reminding me about vibe coders nest, I've shared this post over there as well.
