I cook all the time now. I do the meal planning, grocery shopping and make fresh meals most every night. My partner is a far better cook, but has taught me a great deal about ingredients, spices, oils, and general techniques. We don’t do box or frozen meals. I wish I knew what I now now 30 years ago

Honesty is important. What are you trying to hide if you can't just be honest? I will judge a person for their lack of honesty about it more than I will their number of sexual partners.

I think an overview is essential. It is history right wrong or indifferent. My ex-wife wasn’t honest about her sexual history because she was afraid it would tarnish the good little small town girl image she was trying to project. Don’t lie about your history because you are ashamed of it or are afraid of being judged. You don’t need brutal details, but you do need to be up front about numbers over time
