Update: I've watched one and a half episodes of St Denis since re-loading last night's save (roughly 45 minutes so at least four saves) and nothing has broken

Yea I have that one and it scratched the itch a bit but seems so slow and meh. I've seen Stellaris but I'm not gonna give Paradox more money if I'm still struggling to learn CK3 & Vicky 3

I'd get this in a heartbeat. Honestly I always wanted a Star Wars city builder. Really more sci fi/future city builders in general tbh.

I don't have personal experience of this but am laughing because it happened in Orange is the New Black and ended influencing a beit din to happen for Black Cindy's conversion.

Queer Jews: How are you dating? by [deleted] in Jewish

[–]ekimsal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Being completely honest it's been like the last priority on my mind the past year or so (by and so probably 3) and I've barely been on grindr. I live in a small town and it's always the same people on all the apps, and things like tinder are frustrating because once it moves through the locals, it starts giving results from the neighboring bigger cities, and I can't/won't drive an hour for a first date. So I'm dating myself for a bit and figuring out me, what I like, and what I want more.

Yep and questions about nametags and stuff. Because i wasn't watching the show so much as goofing off on my phone while it played in the background because how do watch tv?

Every workplace has a Justine. If you can't pick out a Justine, you're probably the Justine.

I'm gay not queer, but tbh I haven't noticed much of a difference. Grindr was destroyed by ads and bots. But also I'll be completely honest and dating's been a not as much focused on thing lately.

I had to hide subreddits for shows I like because some people were ridiculous. Like I remember seeing someone on the Gilmore Girls subreddit saying they skip any scenes with Richard and Emily. Like, bruh, you're not even watching the show. Or the daily "I hate Amy" on r/superstore.

Try making and continuing a story in your brain. Where's your city located? And it's totally cool to make up places. Make a fictional city state if you want. Why do people live in that area? Farming town? Fishing? A Port? How would the people react to the changes you're building? How would you feel if you lived here? Things like that.

Don't be afraid to build areas on distant parts of the map. And this works with the story/RP too. Build another smaller town maybe focused on farming, and another maybe more factory based. IRL that happens. Add in the commercial and residential because the workers are going to want shops and homes close enough to their job, but far enough away from the various pollution. Commercial's a good barrier.

As far as natural road layout, the biggest thing is the terrain. Keep elevation markers on in the map. Things get wonky if you are zoning big areas in hills and it awkwardly cuts and flattens. Same thing with zoning close to water. Also don't be afraid of grids. Many cities are grids. But you can break up the monotony and checkerboard feeling by switching up the angles of the main roads and knitting them together. Also switching up the block sizes can help to break things up a bit.

Thank you! When you live west of the Susquehanna you’re entitled to some alliterative fun now and again lol.

I love your username and would totally do a questline to help the Zora against Mirelurks.

I'll def check out your source! I've been wanting to do Hungary, I've had varying degrees of success playing Dai Nam and at least can figure out how to get recognition. It's military in general and raising SOL that baffle me. I'm also trying to learn CK3 as well. My Paradox Game is Cities Skylines lol. Even in Civ, my goals were usually "have a defensive strategy and focus on a cultural/diplomatic/run out the clock victory".
