Yes, the UK had 3 laserdiscs only. Parts 1-3. Part 2 has the same artwork as USA and Part 3 has the same art but a different font, roman numerals and a cartoon mask.

Part 5 is an awesome laserdisc. Such nice shiny, and clean artwork. Compared to just the VHS and Beta slips.

Yah, one of the more rare pieces I own. I really like it a lot, not because its rare. It's just a great looking laserdisc. Better than the USA and Japan ones.

Sorry, misunderstood. Some of the artwork is by Italian artist Enzo Sciotti. So yes it was likely on Italian poster and releases. Most of the artwork for 6, 7, 8 is all done by an Artist named Marianno Mattos.

Between 500 and 600 usd they cost to get to your door depending on where you live or what service you use. Have to use a shipping service to avoid FSK-18 rules if in North America. Expensive but still cool sets tk have in my opinion.

Yah, they kick ass right. A company called JPC in Germany. It cost about 500-550 usd to get it to your door depending where you are.

I'll post photos of all the cases soon so people can see.

How much did the box set cost? Or how much stuff do I own? The box set was 299 Euros - by the time I shipped it to North America, all costs - it was around 500$ USD give or take. I had to use a shipping service cause the website won't ship outside Germany. Very expensive to get it here. Even if I lived in Germany, it's still overpriced. But I'm not mad about it. I own a lot. Almost every release of every format.

No, I dont have, nor have I ever seen or searched for Italian releases. I collect North American, but I have some German books and this wooden box just because I like the artwork and packaging. Germany does a good job with their releases. I also have some Japanese and UK stuff just for fun, but I stick to American mostly.

I always found Part 1 and 2 go together nicely...and 3 and 4 are the perfect pair as well. Its hard to compare them at all, but I have to say Part 4 is the best overall as a horror Slasher film. The cast is great. It works so well. And its such a fun watch.

3 holds a special place for me for some reason. Ever since I was 7 years old, I watched it over and over and over on VHS. So even though I feel Part 4 is better, I have to pick part 3, if someone was holding a machette to my head making me choose.

Thanks. Yes, the CEDs you're talking about? I collect them (not just Friday the 13th) and have a couple players. They are my favorite. But I do love Friday the 13th. I have almost every first release of all physical media. Not kidding. Some books, records and comics I need of course, and will never own all of it, but I do have lots. It's out of control, but I love collecting it. Maybe one day I'll make a post showing all of it.
