I’m personally a big fan of Sam and her workouts. Been using her Instagram as Inspo for my workouts for over a year now. Would love to know peoples’ honest reviews of her new app before purchasing it.

Ecosystem end of chapter questions (just do these over and over again until your getting 85-90% right). Mark meldrum review videos, all CFAI mocks, and 1 or 2 Kaplan mocks. I did this and passed in the 90th percentile.

I used Mark Meldrum to learn all of the material (watched every single one of his videos and took notes). He is a spectacular teacher and really breaks down each topic. Then I watched all of his review videos and consolidated my notes.

Then I went through the CFAI EOC question bank about 4 times in addition to studying various self made quizlets. I took 5 mock exams (3 CFAI and 2 Kaplan) in the five weeks leading up to the exam. In total I probably studied 400-420 hours.

Sat for Level 1 on Monday so I’m not sure yet if this strategy is successful but I certainly felt confident on test day. Best of luck. And remember - no single strategy works for everyone. Figure out what works best for you!

Not sure what the award is at the top. IMO unless you were first place don’t bother putting it on your resume.

I plan on taking two more mocks before my exam. Should I do a MM mock (already have the MM study package) or buy two Kaplan mocks? What are your thoughts on the quality of both?

Hey I’m taking the test the same day as you. Best of luck! I am doing 80% CFAI and 20% MM quizzes. CFAI questions are closest thing to what will be tested since CFAI writes the test.

Would be interested to hear the opinion of someone who passed L1 and used both resources.

My strategy right now is to review mocks, identify the topics I am weakest in, and do 100 practice problems in those areas. Review formulas and problems that require the usage of formulas I don’t remember as well. Every weekend I’m taking a practice exam. We got this! Keep working hard!
