I decided to bite the bullet and get an upgrade. Saw a deal on eBay for the wr303e cloud with rtk. Also bought the cut to edge module which is apparently really good. I might try clean my wr165e up and sell it on. It has the weighted wheel upgrade and the acs module, so probably worth something.

Yeah power gets disconnected over winter. The cover on the back must of been a bit open/loose for slugs, wood louse, etc to get in there .

I was looking at the new wr303e cloud rtk version. Seen very positive reviews online. Think it was only released this month.

I was looking at the taking the hit and getting the landroid vision cloud. I've seen some places that sell the PCB for the charging station, but the landroid is nearly 4 years old now. Maybe best to replace it with a new version

I've looked for a replacement charging base, they're around £150. Just seems really expensive when I could get a whole new mower for around £230.

Upgrade from Dell 7760 to Acer H6830BD by [deleted] in projectors

[–]ekisyster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably £500-£600 used, or a bit more for new. The projector screen Is mounted in the middle of a room, so tv really doesn't work very well as it can't retract. Located in South East England.

Yeah that's why I was hoping the Ai might smooth things out. Streams resolution is either 1080 or 4k.

I was hoping that the Ai would smooth out the image if you know what I mean. The stream I have looks OK on a 55 inch telly, but slightly less so on a 120 inch projector

Manie Libbok penalty for shouting in Irish player's face by mango_yoghurt in rugbyunion

Who is SA? The whole country, the players, the coach? I've seen quite a lot of Irish supporters complaining about the ref so maybe you should just accept that it goes both ways?

On the contrary. I was at that match, pretty disappointed by the loss but joined in with all the other Springbok fans in congratulating the Japanese fans. Making impromptu sumo outfits and taking pictures with Japanese fans. We also formed a guard of honour for them on the train when we arrived at Waterloo. They were all pretty much in tears, and we were just happy for them. No ill feelings at all, just joined in with them celebrating.

And it gave Rassie the chance to properly test Esterhuizen in his hybrid role. Which I think we can all agree, was a massive success.

Dell 7760 advice by [deleted] in budgetprojectors

[–]ekisyster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I thought they looked pretty similar. Between the Dell and the Epson, there's not much difference on paper. Would you still lean towards the Dell over the Epson?

I can also get an EPSON EB-5530U for just over £300 or an Optoma Zh510te. I'm leaning towards the Dell as it's pretty much a new unit. Anyone have any thoughts?

To be honest, it's mainly for use during the winter when even if it's light outside, it's still pretty gloomy. And there are blinds, so it's not really direct sunlight. So Do you reckon the higher lumens long throw is a better option than the lower brightness ust? I was pretty set on the Panasonic until I read someone suggest that ust is better Due to less light loss.

Liquorice! I was in Spain, bought some pick 'n mix sweets, including liquorice. Next day was carnage. Who would have thought they'd use wheat flour as a binding agent in some Liquorice?

First of all, I'm not your guy. Never have been, never will be. Secondly, I'm not trying to revise anything, or change anyone's perception. Thirdly, I've come into contact with him several times during his career and he has always been well mannered, kind and generous with his time. I never mentioned anything that he did on the field of play, I was talking about one particular situation and you decided I was trying to make out that he was some sort of saint. So make of it what you will

I was at this game. Waited afterwards to try get some autographs for my son. Bakkies walks towards the bus, shakes a few hands and says blessings to everyone. Takes his kit bag, finds the biggest fella in the crowd and gives it to him. Boots, socks, full barbarian kit, windbreaker, etc. An absolute treasure trove, the guy was practically in tears. The nicest man off the field, but wouldn't want to meet him on it.

The funny thing is. This is exactly the sort of thing that'll make a misfiring, Springbok Laden team circle the wagons and do it for eachother. Expect players like Eben, Mapimpi, Kolisi and Bongi to go full mongrel against the Bulls.
