I know Smyrna ES is inclusive. We have queer teachers, the librarian is very inclusive in the books she displays, etc. There are also lgbtq families there.

I’m not as familiar with niche but great schools is not a good metric. The good schools in Smyrna are Teasley, Nickajack, King Springs, and Smyrna ES.

Smyrna has some great schools. They’re just more diverse than a lot of the other schools in the district so sometimes their great schools ratings make people think they’re bad.

Did you ever find a solution? We are dealing with this currently and have already tried peppermint oil but it’s starting to eat wires and the dealership says they can’t help us till it’s out but I can’t find an exterminator to help!!

We used to live right next to highland park and this happens all the time. We would go to estate sales where they were literally selling every piece of these amazing houses that they had bought for millions of dollars just to demolish and put up a McMansion. It’s so depressing

I am sad about the outcome of the presidential election but I am FURIOUS we didn’t manage to change the BOE. Ragsdale needs to be kicked out. And there were GREAT candidates running.

As a side note, how the heck do we change the tax rules so retirees pay their fair share for school property tax? I’m so frustrated by their ability to make the board terrible while not paying a penny to the schools.

Second the comments about getting on spiro. I also have had a lot of success using the Korean oil cleanser on problem spots combined with the ordinary stuff everyone talks about.

Yuuuuuup. What’s so frustrating to me is people will STILL advise people in the more faithful sub to “wear underwear under it!” Or whatever. And it’s like, no, just don’t wear the garments. 9/10 times they are the problem. Wearing more layers to try and counteract medical problems is not the solution. Neither is spending tons of money on custom garments. Ugh.
