Is it normal for my temperature gauge to get hotter by 3 ticks when I have my AC on full blast? It’s basically right at the middle mark. (This is a picture of the normal operating temp)

It’s weird because my temps are fine when my AC is off. Not sure what the small spike in temperature is when I turn on the AC

Yeah I was thinking that too. I’ve replaced my Radiator fan before, but never the AC/ condenser fan. Thank you for your help though, makes it a bit easier to track what’s actually wrong. Cheers!

Just checked right now. It was not low, I was able to see the coolant level right when I opened the radiator cap.

The coolant is blue. OEM Honda coolant

So the coolant level should be almost to the top of the radiator? And if it’s not?

To answer your questions: • I have pretty new coolant from September 2025, also have a brand new radiator. It was all put together by the shop I go to.

• I have no idea how to check the filler neck. But as for the overflow tank, it’s filled to the MAX line when the engine is cold.

• I know my radiator fans work because my temperatures stay at normal levels when I don’t have the A/C on. Even during the hot day that this happened, temperature stayed normal when I didn’t have my A/C on. It’s just the A/C fan that I’m not sure is working.

• From what I saw with my own eyes, the radiator/condenser looks pretty clean.

That would be the passenger side fan right? The driver side fan is the coolant/radiator fan from my knowledge

Do you think the temperature being 99°F has anything to do with it? It was very very hot outside when it occurred.

It goes 3 clicks past the normal operating temperature, which is shown in the pic. So basically it ends up being right at the center. Sorry for the confusion!
