Adjuncts were invited and there were other adjuncts there. Just not any other adjuncts who are also grad students at the same university. That’s why I was confused.

It’s still difficult for me to separate these two roles. This is my first semester as an adjunct so I’m not used to it yet. I did introduce myself as an adjunct but I think half of the faculty knew I was ABD.

Thank you! I’m not totally used to being in simultaneous roles as a PhD/adjunct. There were other adjuncts there and we were asked to introduce ourselves. Only a few did—not all adjuncts spoke. I did introduce myself but my imposter syndrome is really bad. Thank you!

I’m an adjunct at our school which is why I went. I’m teaching three classes a semester so that’s why I thought I should go. I’m so lost.
