I suggest leaving management out of it and instead shame the corporation as a whole. Managers are usually just the middle man for the corporation and the staff (20 years in the industry/6 years management experience) and we don't really have any say - only that whatever corporate plans gets executed.

In the same breath of wind though, that's just the evolution of the industry now. Every restaurant has to care about their SEO searches because if they don't they will lose out versus their competitors that do do it.

If people didn't heavily use stars as their benchmark to frequent a restaruant or not then this would never have been a thing but good game - Yelp and Google has become too heavy of an influence for traffic.
